Balekambang Beach



Balekambang is a nice beach with the icon of Hindu temple stand permanent on an island called Ismoyo island which established by local Hinduism. Over there, has two islands with distance of about one hundred meters each, which have been connected with one meter-wide bridge each. Balekambang offers a different atmosphere of beach in the Southern part of Malang.

The ritual and traditional ceremonies namely Jalanidhipuja (Hindu ceremony) and Suran (Javanese New Year ceremony) are held here every year. The parking area, stalls, inns, souvenir shops, flying fox, and the others tourism facilities has provided for the visitors. In administrative, this beautiful beach is located at Srigonco village, Bantur district, about 57 km away to the south from Malang and still not accessible by public transportation but the visitor usually uses the own rides.

Let’s visit Balekambang beach and enjoy its wonderful waves with softly sea wind. Do some of beach activities, such as; swimming, sun bathing, fishing, shopping, hunting the sea food, just refreshing routinity, and so on.
