Jago Temple




In Malang regency was consisted of several temples here. One of them is Jajaghu or Jago temple which constructed in 1275 - 1300. It believed as the burial place of King Wisnuwardhana ashes, the fourth king of Singosari kingdom. It is extremely interesting that the temple has the similarities of temple ornament with Penataran temple in Blitar Regency. Jago temple located at Jago village, Tumpang District, the eastern part of Malang city (about 22 km).
